2. All the money bet in your flight stays in you

put more prize money in your flight.)

by a person you designate prior to the opening bid.
4. You may purchase as many teams as you wish
either in your flight or any other flight. (Consortiums are welcome)
5. If your team is not purchased by you or any
one else. Your team becomes a St . Jude team and you prize money
is forfeited to the children of St. Jude.

a Wild Card Place. (The wild card will be drawn from the hat on
Sunday night after your flight championship has been played FROM
THE TEAMS WHICH DID NOT PLACE 1ST OR 2ND.)
7. All Calcutta BID money must be paid by 4:00pm
Friday January 18, 2008.
8. Substitutes will only be allowed after the
calcutta in cases of
death to a family member or friend. No other reasons will be allowed.
If a team is short a player after Thursday for any other reason,
they
may add a player (pay the $50 fee), and put them on a court, but
the
match will be a default. So, if for any reason you DO anticipate
a
wedding, illness, injury possibility, etc. PLEASE add a sub to your
roster. This is the responsibility of the team captains to discuss
with their teams and project.
9. NO ONE on the St. Jude Executive Committee
may bid on
ANY teams in the calcutta. Already, those people could not win any
raffle items or door prizes, and we are adding this additional
prohibition. The 2008 Executive Committee consists of: Beau Brock,
Liz Jenkins, Connie Caldwell, Gwen Harmon, Barry Searles, Connie
Frank, Dr. Herman Soong, and Jared White.
10. St. Jude's cut from the grosses of each division is 30%. We
will still pay off 1st place, 2nd place and the wild-card from each
division. If you do not want to participate in this auction, that's
O.K. Our committee wants to remind everyone the heart of this weekend
is that is a charity fund-raiser, and the auction will not be continued
if we cannot count on the honesty and fair play of our participants.
