2008 Aquinas League Cromwell Cup - Mission Statement
The Cromwell Cup is an additional service provided by the Aquinas
League to the tennis community and provides an additional incentive
for participation in Aquinas League events.
Scoring Rules for 2008 Crown Trophy Community Cup
Points are calculated according to their individual NTRP rating
regardless of the level they enter in an event. This Cromwell Cup
is designed to reward players who play in any of the above events
and players get points for playing doubles, singles, or mixed doubles.
You will accumulate points individually at your NTRP group. Also,
events playing round robins are scored the same as regular tournaments
as shown below, and unless the round robin winners advance to a
semi-final or final round, the scoring is still 10 points per win,
and not counted a winner’s bracket semi-finals or finals for points
as shown below.
Players get the following points awarded to them:
10 points = for entering a tournament
10 points = for any win not a winners bracket semi-final
20 points = for a winners bracket semi-final win
30 points = for winners bracket finals win
2008 Cromwell Cup Monitor
Beau Brock will be responsible for monitoring and updating to Robby
Economides the standings of this year’s event who will place the
updated files on the Aquinas League web page.
